In this world we elect the Qualified the best, however God has a different approach he does not call the Qualified, he Qualifies the called , he does not wait for the perfect people He takes imperfect people and by the power of his sprit converts them to someone that no human power could produce. Saint Peter is a perfect example , he walked with Jesus for 3 years . HE watched Jesus feed the thousands , he watched Jesus walk on water ect.. JESUS commissioned him again feed my lambs feed my sheep and follow me and peter did for the rest of his life .
1 peter vers 2 reminds us that we are : chosen by the father ,set apart from the spirit and covered by the blood of Jesus , it not based on the worldly worth but by the grace set apart on his elected children before the beginning of time
2 your trials are refining fire ,they prove your faith more
