Promise of the BIBLE

Promises are words of assurance and hope are words that we are drone to in times of trial and in times where we are battling with our faith in this world.  Every day  is a battle for a believer, not only a battle with the world, but a greater battle is fought within ourselves (with our thoughts,our weaknesses,with our consciousness and especially that fight  we constantly endure which, we have with worldly us - against the spiritual being;within us). In such times like these we tend to look for a good word from someone,a word of assurance from this world, which can be hard to get and perhaps in our attempts it  has always failed us and perhaps  made us even more weaker , and sadder than before. and perhaps have led us to lose all our hopes and understanding.

 Do not be Dismayed- for the Lord is with you. In every form possible. The Lord was made flesh, and did live among us as (Christ the Lord)  and  now lives among us in the form of his Word

The Word -:The Bible guarantees ,provides and affirms  promises to his children ,so that we may have a strong faith and hope in the one True Lord. 

A year has 365 days!, we all know that. So would it be surprising to know that, The Bible offers the same amount of promise to  his children. YES! the Bible does offer 365 words of promises to us 

A promise for every day of the Year. so why wait.

Hold on to the promises
Study them,
Proclaim them.
Quote them in your prayers.
Recite them to yourself in time of your battles.
Tell it to your Children.
Offer it to a week  hearted person.

Remember King David in the bible. Who constantly wrote and sang  all that Psalms that we so much cherish. he wrote and sang them in the mist of all his battles, that  he had to fight in his life. Even when he was running away from King Soul.

let us too be strong in the word so that the Word might  make us  and live within us  .As we live in Christ.

God fills like no Other

Many of us might be having a small area of emptiness in our lives, which we try to hide from others or even pretend to hide it from ourselves. It might be because of a lot of things. We call this emptiness a void.
Many of us might turn to addictions, like drinking, smoking, porn .and even people. As our despite attempt to come out of that feeling out of emptiness, unworthiness , or even loneliness or longing ness for someone or something.
It is not wise to seek to fill it from our own understanding or wisdom. . If you try it for yourselves you will soon come to know that it does not help, and you feel all the more empty and incomplete.
The Idols will never completely satisfy us. Do not let the lust for immediate gratification pushes you to fill your void with anything.

If you are one such a person, who has a void, has a feeling that something is missing, or even thinks that you are not complete. I have great news for you! The God who created you, is sufficient, to fill your heart, from that emptiness

When a void is created in our life, it doesn’t mean God is withholding a good thing. The void is there so God can fill it. It is wise for us to allow Him to fill it in His time and in His way.

In the very first book, In its very first chapter of the bible. We get to read:

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

It is from this void and the darkness condition, God created the world, and the entire wonderful things that we get to see around us that we call his creation, his handiworks. That includes us as well.
So it is without doubt that ,the God who transformed something empty and dark and turned it into something magnificent ,Is sufficient to fill our heart and transform our empty life, to a work of wonder filled with contentment,

God is good. That means we can truly trust in Him to meet all our heart’s longings, all our needs in every area of our life. The challenge is to be content to wait knowing God will do the thing in us and for us. God’s ways are much higher than ours.

We at times tent to find contentment in things we do a short time , and later , come to a puzzling question , What is the meaning of my life , What have I accomplished , Have I accomplished anything?. You might be someone who has been in a profession for 30 years filled with success but now when you turn back you see that it was nothing, It has not made you , it was just a feeling that was once there but no more this makes us sad again ,
For those of you I have a verse in the bible just for you.

Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

May the thing that make you, be the qualities from above, values, principals in life that might be left behind , when you leave. And not materialistic things that last only for a little while and dissolves like smoke .

Know this for yourselves, at every stage of our lives , we value many materialistic things , that latter becomes less significant in our lives and then we move to other things this process of knowing and letting it go continues ,the bible says

1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

I hope this would be sufficient for us to conclude that, we are complete when God complete us, we are filled only when God fills us , He fills like no other. The bible conforms this by these words.

Joh 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

So Wait for the Lord and He will accomplish that which concerns you. He withholds no good thing from him who walks uprightly, and in the good timing of His wisdom, you will receive His very best for you.

Make your mark, in life . And let that mark you make be from God.

They That Wait upon the Lord

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

This is one of the best-loved promises of the Bible, for it is easy to grow weary and faint in our mortal bodies, even when doing the work of the Lord. The answer, we are told, is to "wait upon the LORD."

But what does this mean? The Hebrew word (gavah) does not mean "serve," but rather, to "wait for" or "look for." It is translated "waited for" the second time it is used in the Bible, when the dying patriarch Jacob cried out: "I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD" (Genesis 49:18).

The first time it is used, surprisingly, is in connection with the third day of creation, when God said: "Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place" (Genesis 1:9). That is, the all-pervasive waters of the original creation, divided on the second day of creation, now are told to wait patiently, as it were, while God formed the geosphere, the biosphere, and the astrosphere, before dealing again with the waters.

Perhaps the clearest insight into its meaning is its use in the picture of Christ foreshadowed in the 40th Psalm. "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry" (Psalm 40:1).

"The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary" (Isaiah 40:28), and His gracious promise is that we can "renew our strength" (literally, "exchange our strength," our weakness for His strength!) by "waiting upon Him." We wait patiently for Him, we gather together unto Him, we look for Him, we cry unto Him, we trust Him, and He renews our strength!

Blessed Assurance in Christ Jesus

Security In Christ Jesus
Hebrews 13:6 - So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
To have security means to have a firm foundation in the Lord. A strong foundation brings perfect security. Security comes with perfect peace and the protection of the Lord. Man will always be there to bring you down and make you feel insecure, but remember who you are in the Lord. The enemy will always be at your doorstep. He is always trying to steal, kill and destroy the ministry that the Lord has called you to, but remember who you are in the Lord. You are a child of the living God. You are an heir with Christ.

The Believers Doctrine

The believer has eternal life - Rom. 6:23, Tit. 1:2.

The believer is saved by grace, not works - Eph.2:8-9, Tit. 3:5, Rom. 4:5, 11:6.

The believer is in God the Father - I Thess. 1:1, II Thess. 1:1.

The believer is in Jesus Christ - Phil. 1:1; II Cor. 5:17.

The believer is indwelt by God the Father - Eph. 4:6.

The believer is indwelt by Jesus Christ - Col. 1:27, Gal. 2:20.

The believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit - Rom. 8:9, I Cor. 2:12, 3:16.

The believer has his sins forgiven. Sin is what separates us from God, and God has already forgiven us all trespasses. Col. 2:13.

The believer will not have his sins imputed (written down, placed on his account) - Rom. 4:8.
The believer has peace with God - Rom. 5:1.

The believer has no condemnation - Rom. 8:1, 32-34.

The believer is complete in Christ - Col 2:10.

The believer has been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places - Eph. 1:3.

The believer has a God that cannot lie - Tit. 1:2.

The believer's life is Christ's life - Col. 3:4.

The believer has been baptized into the Body of Christ - I Cor. 12:13.

The believer is sealed (Eph. 1:13) until the day of redemption (Eph. 4:30). This is the earnest

(guarantee) of the Spirit - Eph. 1:14, II Cor. 1:22, 5:5.

The believer is accepted in the beloved - Eph. 1:6.

The believer has been bought by Christ - I Cor. 6:19-20.

The believer has God on his side - Rom. 8:31.

The believer cannot be separated from the love of God - Rom. 8:38-39.

The believer is the workmanship of God (Eph. 2:10), which He will complete - Phil. 1:6.

The believer is seated in heaven - Eph. 2:6.

The believer has an inheritance - Eph. 1:18, Col. 1:12.

The believer is a new creature - II Cor. 5:17.

The believer is saved from the wrath to come - I Thess. 1:10, 5:9, Rom. 5:9.

The list goes on. The believer may truly rest in the finished work of Christ. He rejoices, not because of his own faithfulness, but in the faithfulness of God (II Tim. 2:13).
This security in Christ does not lead the believer to loose and careless living. Quite the contrary, it is rather the motivation to live under grace, as is well pleasing to the Lord (Rom. 6:1-12, 12:1-2, II Tim. 2:19-22). This is what Paul calls "walking worthy of our vocation" (Eph. 4:1).

John 6:37
There is something very comforting to the believer when he sees the "wills", "shalls", and "musts" within the scripture. Those words speak of certainty. When it comes to the God of the Bible, we behold there One who is sovereign -- One Who does as He wills and One who owes no explanation of His actions to anyone. The God of scripture is not one that can be bargained with, but is One to be bowed to. His Word always goes forth and accomplishes the purpose for which it has been sent (Isaiah 55:11). One such scripture plainly sets forth the certainty of salvation for God's people is John 6:37. Listen to the unwavering words of our Lord: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Within this one scripture three undeniable and unchangeable facts are established by the Holy Spirit, and in these facts the eye of faith most assuredly beholds God's glory: 1) God the Father has given a blessed gift to the Son, 2) the Lord Jesus Christ will most assuredly possess that gift, and 3) that gift is eternally secure.

1 God the Father has given a blessed gift to the Son. "All that the Father giveth me" -- Here the Lord Jesus speaks of a definite number and group of people that has been given by eternal election unto the Son. Those given by the Father were chosen in Christ from the foundation of the world unto eternal life. It was for these elect sinners that our Lord prayed in John 17. Hear the words of the interceding Master as His heart is revealed in prayer to His Father: "I have manifested thy name to the men which thou gavest me out of the world" (vs. 6). "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine" (vs. 9). The apostle Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica: "But we are bound to give thanks unto God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" (2 Thess. 2:13). Men may talk of their desires or their intentions, but how marvelous it is that the Holy Ghost would reveal God's choice. Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus clearly states that God has "chosen us in Him (that is, Christ Jesus) that we should be holy and without blame before Him (the Father) in love (Eph. 1:4). That the Father has given a blessed gift to the Son is to the praise of the glory of His grace. With this truth established, let us now consider the next unchangeable fact of John 6:3:

2) The Lord Jesus Christ will possess that gift. One may ask, "what is the sign that a man has been chosen of God unto salvation?" Again, the scripture is plain and emphatic when it comes to the salvation of God's elect. "All that the Father giveth me shall come (by faith) to me." Can there be anything more certain than these words? Does the Lord leave anything to chance? NO! Based on the authority of the word of God, those that the Father has given to the Son shall come to the Son for salvation. These elect behold by faith that God is pleased with them only on the merit of being found in Christ. The blood that Christ shed at Calvary to cover the guilt of all the elect is the only atonement that will be accepted by a Holy God. God's elect shall in time perceive the beauty of Christ as their Substitute, their Redeemer, their Representative, and their Savior. They shall come to Him for life and mercy as needy spiritual beggars. They come because they are made willing in the day of His power (Psalm 110:3). They long to drink of Christ because they are thirsty for the Water of Life (John 7:37). They come to eat of His flesh (John 6:53) because they see Him to be the Bread from heaven. The eternal purpose of the Almighty God cannot be frustrated. The sovereign will of the Most High God shall be accomplished. This then brings us to the last great truth of John 6:37:

3)That gift is eternally secure. The Lord Jesus said "him that cometh to me" shall not be cast out! Here is eternal security for everyone that truly comes to Christ. This is the foundation that stands secure. This is blessed assurance for those spiritual beggars that come by faith to the Savior. Never cast out -- O how wonderful that sounds to one who recognizes his tendency to wander from God. Every time a saint sees something of his inability to keep himself faithful (which is constantly), he is reminded of the faithfulness of God Who never leaves nor forsakes His own. The words "I will in no wise cast out" are an anthem of hope to every one that truly needs the Savior.

God's word stands sure. When it comes to the salvation of God's people, one can rest on these truths: God has given (and chosen) to His Son a people that He has eternally loved. Those that the Father has given to Christ shall by Spirit-given faith surely come unto salvation. All that come to Christ by faith unto salvation shall surely be preserved by Christ, for He will in no wise cast them out. For these blessed truths, we praise and give thanks to our matchless Lord.

Once More on God's Ability and His Promises

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . . . . (Eph_3:20)
These opening words from one of the most well-known benedictions in all of the New Testament offers a unique opportunity to consider God's ability, as related to His promises. How able is God? He is "able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. " Could we possibly ask for more than God has already promised? Could we properly think greater things than God has promised? Well, let's reflect upon some of the promises of God that we have already considered.
We have seen that God promised to make a mighty nation with world-wide blessings from one man, Abraham. "I will make you a great nation . . . and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed" (Gen_12:2-3). God also promised to deliver His people from bondage into an abundant land. "I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt . . . to a land flowing with milk and honey" (Exo_3:17). He also promised to fight for His people. "The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you" (Deu_1:30). Additionally, God promised an eternal kingdom for his people, through the line of David. "And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever" (2Sa_7:16). Further, God promised that His Messiah would sit on that eternal throne. "A Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him" (Isa_11:1-2). Moreover, God promised that Messiah would be a unique King. "A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench" (Isa_42:3). Ultimately, the Father promised that the Messiah Himself (Jesus) would be the new covenant of grace. "I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will . . . give You as a covenant to the people" (Isa_42:6). Correspondingly, the Lord promised that this covenant of grace would provide forgiveness of sins ("I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more" — Jer_31:34), intimacy with God ("They all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them" — Jer_31:34), and an inner work of God to change us from the inside out ("I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts" — Jer_31:33).
Certainly, we could not ask or think beyond these promises. Yet, our God is able to do far beyond these extraordinary matters. What confidence this gives us regarding God's promises, as well as every prayer we offer based on these promises!
