6   Put God First

           Seek ye first the Kingdome of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you    Mathew (6:33) 

7    Obedience produces true peace

      Great peace have they which love they law and nothing shall offend them    PSALM ( 119:165 )

8   God rewards those who remain faithful

          Blessed is the man that endureth temptation for when he dis tried he shall receive the crown of life which the lord has promised that love him    James (1:12 )

9   True faith always leads to obedience

         By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance obeyed. And he went out, not knowing whither he went   Hebrews( 11:8)

10   Those who fear the Lord walk in wisdom

           Blessed is everyone that feareth that walketh in his ways    psalm (128. 1)

11    God’s commandments are not a burden

           For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments and his commandment sare not grievous     1^st  John  ( 5:3 )

12  Obedience leads to God’s promises

     deuteronomy 28  1 to 2

13 obedience leads to eternal life

               He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the son shall not see life but the wrath of god abideth on him  john(  3:36 )

 

5 lessons on Obedience

 

1-         If you love me keep my commandments ( john 14:15)

       A-       If keep my commandments you will remain in my love ( john 15:10)

 

2-        Obedience opens the door to God’s Blessings

    A-   If you are willing and obedient , you shall eat the good of the land ( Isaiah 1:19)

 

3-        God desires an obedient heart

   A-       Samuel replied ,does the lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of lord ? To obey is better sacrifices and to heed is better than the fat of Rams ( 1 Samuel 15:22)

 

4 : God’s words should put into practice

A-       Do not merely     listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says ( James 1:22)

 

5 Trust in the lord and follow his ways    

            A-   trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not unto your understanding . in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct they path ( proverbs 3: 5-6)
